I saw this new shade at a beauty store near by and had to pick it up, considering I am a matte lover, the shade looked hot but still would be wearable with some mix and match, I picked it up and it turned out nice but a little too orange in person, nevertheless long lasting and pure matte.

The USP of these lippies is that these are very pigmented, and are matte and long lasting, this shade too isa bright pink and mix of orange to it, on the lips it looks very orange and stands out if you have not done up your other makeup. The color glides smoothly for any matte lip colors of this stature and there is no shimmer, it goes on pure matte and very bright.

The color is almost neonish, the orange is really a popping one, and it helps to shape lips, since it is so matte, you need one even coat and done, any matte lover would love this.. the color sets to a matte finish and transfers very less.So it is definitely long lasting for 5 hours and leave a nice tint behind.

If you apply too much this will not be the right thing to do, keep it light and may be spread it well with finger tips, for me it is a comfortable dry matte,but if you are scared of mattes or you have dry lips then skip this, but pigmented lips is gonna love it ..

The color is suitable only for some party or for night occasion, but can be used as a stain for day wear, it is really face brightening kinds shade and is suited to fair to medium only.If you love mattes try this, at 599 it is okay for all the qualities mentioned.

I am not really fond of applying toners or astringents but as they say it is an important part of the CTM routine, I somehow manage to apply it twice a day getting out of my laziness but I will admit that at times I skip it as well but applying it at the night time is like a mandatory thing for me. I am always attracted to toners with salicylic acid because my skin is pretty unpredictable and a pimple may pop out without expectation. I finished my clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and wanted something like that only, so I started using this after the former one. I am sure all the people who are addicted to beauty gurus on Youtube will have surely heard about this one. Let’s sum the details of this one up.

How did I like the Neutrogena clear pore oil-eliminating astringent:

When it comes to toners I am not really picky, I can adjust with any kind of toner and mostly I would prefer something for my pores, acne or skin whitening. This one is designed especially for oily skin and for those who are facing some minor or major acne issues. The astringent comes in a big sturdy bottle which is transparent and has a white flip open cap and you can easily make out how much product is left and I like such bottles. Though being very huge in size I manage to take it out of towns but I don’t think so everyone will be comfortable doing that. The bottle looks light aqua in colour because the toner is of that colour but as you pour it onto a cotton pad or your hands it will lose its colour and will look like water. This one contains salicylic acid which helps to control my pimples and acne to a great extent, but It will not give the desired results alone. You will have to use it up with other products to combat with the acne problem. The cap has a small hole by which you can pour the required amount onto a cotton pad but as soon as you open the bottle a strong menthol chemical fragrance is released and I don’t understand why such salicylic acid toners smell so weird?

The fragrance is too heavy for the nose but after you apply it the smell starts to face and then goes away in a couple of minutes. The astringent is light and glides in a go on the face and a little bit cooling sensation is felt on the skin thereby making it ready to apply the moisturiser. It is dermatologically tested and it is an acne medication so will be completely safe to use and for now I did not face any side effects but as salicylic acid dries up the skin and creates a bit redness initially I will not recommend it for the beauties with dry skin. The oil is totally taken off withthe cotton pad thereby leave a matte finish behind on the skin. The oil is controlled for like 3 hours and it pretty much cleans up the pores day by day and not just in one go. My skin did not break out after using this so this worked perfectly for me. For pimples and acne I would say that not a major difference in them but does the work slowly with other products. So currently I am happy using this but I know before I finish such a big bottle, something new will totally come up my way.

Will I repurchase/recommend the Neutrogena clear pore oil-eliminating astringent?

Yes I surely would to people who have oily skin. I think somewhere or the other it will help to control that burst of pimples and will remove all the sebum from the skin and this alone will not do anything great for the pimples or acne but will surely act as a catalyst for other acne fighting products. I will get one more bottle after I am up with this if at all I get it in India.

2.  Coffee, Yogurt and Oatmeal Face Pack:

Coffee and oatmeal both have exfoliating properties, yogurt and oatmeal also smoothes and softens skin.  Take one tbsp of coffee and add in 1 tbsp of powdered oatmeal powder and yogurt.  Mix well, you can add honey also.  Apply on face and neck, keep for around half an hour and rinse off.

3.  Coffee and Olive Oil Face Pack:

Now, this one would be good for dry skin.  Olive oil moisturizes skin and has vitamin E content too.  Add 1 tbsp of coffee powder with 1 tbsp of olive oil, mix well, and apply the paste on face and neck.  Rinse off when its semi dry.

4.  Coffee and Cocoa Face Pack:

Now, this is a delicious face pack you should definitely try.  Coffee and cocoa are both rich in antioxidants and work on damage done by free radicals.  Make a paste out of equal quantities of coffee powder and cocoa powder by mixing it with a bit of honey. Apply on the face and neck and wash off when you feel its appropriate.

5.  Coffee, Honey, and Lemon Face Pack:

Lemon provides the necessary dose of vitamin C in this pack.  Take one tbsp of coffee powder, one tbsp of honey, and squeeze in a few drops of lemon into it.  Mix well and apply on face and neck.  Rinse off after half an hour.

The name is clearly lifted from mac’s “pro longwear” never mind that, the shade is a nude not really very peach but a soft brownish nude, I would compare it very much to desert rose from Chambor. The texture is a little sticky, it glides on smoothly but it kind of sets to a sticky finish, it does not set to a matte but to a sticky finish which probably makes it a little smudge-resistant and also long lasting.
